Who’s the winner of the Valentine’s Day 3D Printing Challenge?

Valentine’s Day is over since 20 days, and we hope you had a nice one this year. For the participants to the last Valentine’s Day 3D Printing Challenge at least, it was awesome since they had a chance to imagine something for 3D printing.

After all the contests we did with CGtrader, it’s needless to say that we know we can count on you when it comes to 3D printing. But this time, you did really great. In one month, During one month, you were 73 to submit 294 files. Lovely 3D printable hearts, vases for flowers, beautiful rings, pendants and all those original items that can make Valentine’s Day more special – this is what was submitted for the challenge.

We present you the best 3D printable designs created for this challenge. Thank you for bringing that much 3D printed love. We hope you had a nice time participating. We’ll soon be sending our Sculpteo’s coupons to the winners and runner ups.

Love in the Air by Mridul Sen

This is a perfect example of a high-quality 3D printable model. Both figures composed in this statuette are designed in equal proportions. Therefore, the model looks aesthetical itself. The model is presented nicely and it perfectly matches the theme.

Elven Heart Pendant by mkermol

A highly detailed pendant could be the best gift for your valentine two weeks ago. It is so well designed that it simply stunned us. It is thoroughly made and could be used to make a beautiful gift. It is the best model from all jewellery items submitted for this challenge.

2nd runner-up

LoVase by IDesign

This Valentine’s Day could be called “a new age for the vase”, thanks to IDesign who created this conceptual LoVase. 3D printable vase with a lot of open hearts. This is what we call a good idea. It is a good example of a practical 3D printable item.

The winner made 36 models for this contest. It was the second result amongst the most productive 3D designers who participated in the Valentine’s Day 3D Printing Challenge. Impressive variety and neat concept – these were the main aspects which led us to decide who is the winner in this category.

12 useful tastefully presented items – these are the reasons why Pumper is awarded as a 1st runner-up for the best 3D printable model in this challenge. He made a bunch of original tealight holders which are so attractive that we wanted to 3D print it from the first moment we saw them.

2nd runner-up

MrMilinko

Heart Cord Wrap was one of the most useful and original entries. He made 30 3D models in total. He presented various items for the challenge – some of them are jewellery and some – lovely heart themed figurines or useful items like the one above.
