Codlight launches cPulse, the first smart LED lighting case

Discover lighting interaction as you’ve never done before. After more than a year of developing for Codlight, cPulse is finally available on Kickstarter! That means you have about a month now to support the first smart LED lighting case project, created in partnership with Sculpteo.
Codlight’s idea is simple but brilliant: smartphones should be able to interact with their cases, and in this case with light. To make it possible, their team designed a flexible case made of two parts. One is an edge-to-edge phone case, and the other is a 128 LED panel, equipped with an ambilight sensor. The whole thing is easily managed from your phone, through cPulse’s app.
Since cPulse supports most of 4.4 Android phones, it’s really easy to experiment the many features lighting interaction offers. Enjoy your own augmented music experience, benefit from phototherapy, or even personalize the way you get notifications on your phone.
Moreover cPulse has an ultra low power consumption, which means you can use it for hours without emptying your phone’s battery.
If you want to create your own cPulse case, no problem! Simply download the 3D native file, customize it as you wish, and print it on Sculpteo’s website.
Codlight hopes to raise $350,000 before the end of August. Up to $79 backers will get their own cPulse case before everyone else does.
