Discover CLIP Pilot Program!

Posted By Sculpteo on Mar 1, 2016 | 0 comments

The CLIP technology developped by Carbon was one of the most promising innovation in 2015. As a special partner of Carbon, Sculpteo offers you to be one the first users of this amazing 3D printer. Learn how to join CLIP Pilot Program here!

  • Why are we creating CLIP Pilot Program?

CLIP is a brand new 3D printing technology that has been designed by the US-based company Carbon (former Carbon 3D). CLIP stands for Continuous Liquid Interface Production. New technology means news uses and new ways to design a 3D model. The 3D Printing process is quite different from Selective Laser Sintering and is closer to DLP technology.  We decided to create a pilot program for expert users that are eager to learn with us how to take benefits from the CLIP 3D printing for prototyping and producing parts.

  • Who can access to CLIP Pilot Program?

CLIP Pilot Program is open to all. The only request is that you are able to modify your 3D model by following the guidelines and the feedaback on the prints that we share with you. We have been working with the Carbon 3D Printer for weeks but we are still in a beta phase! By joining the program, you accept the risk that we will deliver you in a uncertain lead time and that you need to re-design your 3D file.

  • How can I register?

You just need to request access to CLIP Pilot Program on our website www.sculpteo.com by clicking on the top banner

  • What are the main steps of CLIP Pilot Program?

We will contact you to discuss about your project and we will share with you the first design guidelines that we have created based on our tests. Updates on these guidelines will be coming a little at a time and the next step will be an in-deep review of your 3D file. Then you will be allowed to order directly on the website.

Don’t hesitate to contact us to learn more about the CLIP Pilot Program and the CLIP technology. We can’t wait to see what you make!
