DAVID Laserscanner : a low-cost 3D scanner

DAVID is a freeware software that allows you to scan/digitize three-dimensional objects.

To build a 3D scanner you need : A camera (e.g. web cam), a hand-held line laser (starting at €19.90), two plain boards in the background, a Windows PC and the DAVID-laserscanner free software.

Or you can buy the DAVID Starter-Kit that contains all necessary hardware and software to set up your own 3d scanner.
