In a recent post I told you how the famous shoe manufacturer Clarks used ZCorporation 3D Printing technology to accelerate their design process. But they’re not alone in the industry to have an increased interest in 3D Printing :“Rapidprototypedshoe” from avant-garde shoe designer Marloes ten Bhömer is part of an exhibition entitled Power of Making, at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, from 6th September 2011 to 2nd January 2012
Produced using Objet multi-material 3D printing, the Rapidprototypedshoe is designed and manufactured in a modular way so that it can be dismantled and reassembled for the purpose of replacing parts.
