Friday pick list!

It’s the end of August! No reason to be sad though, because we’ve planned lots of events for next month! Before September kicks off, this is our ultimate friday pick list!
We already told you about Joaquin Baldwin last week! But the designs he added in between are simply amazing and we wanted to display them this week also. Joaquin created the skeleton of a skeletal Lepidoptera. The Death’s Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos), seen on The Silence of the Lambs , has a skull marking on its back. The model is very thin, yet sturdy and flexible. Detail level is fantastic, and the natural texture of the 3d printing process gives it a bone-like appearance that works wonders.
Also on a more light-hearted note, Joaquin created a full color, delicious strip of bacon, twisted around itself, having only one side. The material is thin enough to be semi-translucent, and of undeniable baconness. Disclaimer: Don’t eat it.
There is also an origami paper crane, if you want one. Created following the traditional crane model, for any lovers or the art of paper folding out there. The detail is incredible, you can see textures and complex shapes even inside of the rib cage. It’s printed in our plastic material.
That’s all for this week picks! Happy weekend everyone!
