New 3D Printing Meetup about art and digital creation in Paris
Posted By Arthur Cassaignau on Nov 4, 2013 |
After more than a month since our last Meetup, it’s definitely time to invite you all to a new Meetup. Our last meeting was called “Think Print”. It was designed so that everyone could understand how one designs for 3D Printing.
This time, we want to emphasize the various possibilities for artists and digital creators to use 3D printing. We want you to meet different artists and creative studios, who are using 3D printing, so that you can figure out what’s next in 3D printing. Two weeks after the FIAC, the Parisian Art Fair, and just a few days after the 3D Print Show in Paris, we thought it would be a great time to talkabout 3D printing, Digital Creation and Art.
For now 1 speaker is planned, but there will be more:
• We’ve invited the duo of artist Linlin & Pierre-Yves Jacques to present their work. Their work will also be featured during the 3D Print Shows in Paris and London.
This event is for every designer, business owner, creative agency, artist, maker, blogger or 3D printing newbie, who wants to learn more about 3D printing. The Meetup will start at 6:30pm.
Once again, we partnered with l’Etablisienne in Paris. Laurence, the founder of this amazing place, will be hosting this meetup in her incredible Maker Space.
Feel free to come with friends and family, and don’t hesitate to bring any project or designs with you! We’ll be there to answer all your questions and to let you play with different 3D printing objects in various materials.
The presentations will be followed by a networking session, and of course something to eat and drink!
We’re thrilled to see you there!
