Software Engineer

Does 3D Printing fascinate you?

Would you like to join a growing company in Europe and North America?  Sculpteo is looking for people who can say YES to those 3 questions.  One of the first 3D Printing websites targeted at a general audience, Sculpteo enables anyone to gain access to 3D Printing, and start to create, sell and produce their own ideas, in quantities ranging from only one all the way up to bigger series.
Sculpteo gives everyone the right tools for 3D Printing.  To support its growth, Sculpteo is looking for a Software Engineer. We are looking for a “startup” profile that shares our passion.

Missions :

Part of a high-performing Software Development team, you will take part in the development of our cloud based software. Your interest for rapid and efficient development will be highly valuable and greatly appreciated.

Profile :

Passionate about technology, you have a real experience (professional or academic) in Web development. Self-learning with strong experience are welcome.
You like to get things done. Technically you are proficient with some of these technologies:

Python
PostgreSQL (MySQL as a bonus)
HTML / JS / CSS
JQuery
C / C++
WegGL / OpenGL

Your English proficiency and interest in new web usages, as well as participation in opensource projects are interesting topics, do not hesitate to let us know!
BUT ABOVE ALL: like the Sculpteo team at large, you are passionate! Position is based in Issy-Les-Moulineaux (5 minutes from Paris downtown) as a full time job. Salary based on profile.

Marketing / Community Manager Assistant (Internship)

You like people, right? We’re looking for a French and English speaking intern who loves 3D printing, marketing (everything from SEO to copy-writing and photography) and community management (blogs, social media and events) to join our marketing and community management team for 6 to 12 months. This internship will involve assisting in introducing new offers and managing events.

Responsibilities :

– Monitoring site audience, conversion rates and proposing solutions to further improve these measures
– Managing and generating content in tandem with our Communty (blogs, social media)
– Creation of additional content (copy, photography, videos) and newsletters
– Putting in place web marketing processes: SEM, SEO, affiliation, recruitment etc.
– Research into new content and services to integrate into our offers (including via partnerships)
– Managing and tracking results from offline events (exhibitions, meet-ups)

Profile :
3 to 5 years University or Business School experience

– You have already undertaken professional internships
– You have a strong interest in new technologies and webmarketing
– You are equally comfortable working in English or French
– You have experience of multiple social networks
– Being an excellent people-person, you have great communication skills
– You’re looking for an enriching experience coupled with real responsibility in the domain of 3D Printing
– You are organized, and like to lead projects independantly
– Very autonomous, you would be comfortable in a small company

Assistant Project Manager (Internship)

Love integrating cool tools with even cooler projects? We give our customers and partners API’s to get 3D Printing into their business and we need a French and English speaking intern who loves 3D printing, web tech (HTML, JS…) and project management (especially integration projects with our partners) to join our team for 6 to 12 months to understand our partner’s needs and work with them to make their plans reality.

Responsibilities :

– Market Analysis and benchmarking
– Collecting user needs
– Project coordination and tracking
– Accompanying the technical team

Profile :
3 to 5 years University, Engineering or Business School experience with an orientation towards Information Systems Management / Web technologies

– You have already undertaken professional internships
– You have a strong interest in new technologies
– You are equally comfortable working in English or French
– You have a general understanding of basic web languages (HTML, JS)
– You have project tracking and task planning experience
– You’re analytical and organized
– Very autonomous, you would be comfortable in a small company

Duration : Between 6 and 12 months

Product Designer for 3D Printing (Internship)

Want to see the products you design come to life exactly how you imagined them? Like working on varied projects with people of different backgrounds? We’re looking for a French and English speaking product design intern with experience in at least two well known 3D packages who loves 3D printing (and telling people about it) and getting stuff done to join our team for 4 to 6 months.

Responsibilities :

– 3D modeling of products for 3D Printing either internally or for our clients
– Participating in generating interest for 3D Printing amongst our various communities (meetups, exhibitions, webinars…)
– Helping develop internal know-how when it comes to 3D modeling (developing tutorials)
– Creating supplementary content, relevant to 3D modeling and printing (text, photos, videos)

Profile :
3 to 5 years University, Engineering or Design School experience with an understanding of 3D Printing

– You have already undertaken professional internships
– You have a strong interest in new technologies and 3D Printing
– You are equally comfortable working in English or French
– You have mastered at least two leading 3D modeling software packages (Solidworks, Maya, Zbrush, 3Dsmax, Autocad, Rhino, Cine4D, Pro-engineer)
– Very autonomous, you would be comfortable in a small company and are able to prioritize effectively
– Knowledge of programming would be an advantage

Duration : Between 4 and 6 months
Domains : Product Design, 3D Printing, New Technologies
Specific Project : A specific internal project in parametric design will be entrusted to the chosen intern in addition to various product design projects
Status : Intern, with potential for a full time position (CDI)
