Software Engineer

To support its growth, Sculpteo is looking for a Software Engineer. We are looking for a “startup” profile that shares our passion.

Position and responsibilities:

Part of a high-performing Software Development team, you will take part in the development of our cloud based software. Your interest for rapid and efficient development will be highly valuable and greatly appreciated.
Profile :

Passionate about technology, you have a real experience (professional or academic) in Web development. Self-learning with strong experience are welcome.

You like to get things done. Technically you are proficient with some of these technologies:

  • Python
  • PostgreSQL (MySQL as a bonus)
  • HTML / JS / CSS
  • JQuery
  • C / C++

Your English proficiency and interest in new web usages, as well as participation in opensource projects are interesting topics, do not hesitate to let us know!

3D Printing and 3D Design Evangelist (internship)

Want to see the products you design come to life exactly how you imagined them?
Enjoy working on varied projects with people of different backgrounds? Sculpteo is looking for people who can say YES to those 3 questions. We’re looking for a product design intern with experience in at least two well known 3D packages who loves 3D printing (and telling people about it) and getting stuff done to join our team for 6 months.

To support its growth, Sculpteo is looking for a 3D Printing and 3D Design Evangelist. We are looking for a “startup” profile that shares our passion.

Position and responsibilities:

 

Part of the Design team, you will take part in the development of our tools and content. You will be responsible for:

  • 3D modeling of products for 3D Printing either internally or for our clients
  • Participating in generating interest for 3D Printing amongst our various communities (meetups, exhibitions, webinars…)
  • Helping develop internal know-how when it comes to 3D modeling (developing tutorials)
  • Creating supplementary content, relevant to 3D modeling and printing (text, photos, videos)

Qualifications :

Passionate about technology, you have a real experience in 3D Design. Self-learning with strong experience are welcome.

  • You have already undertaken professional internships
  • You have a strong interest in new technologies and design applied to 3D printing
  • You have mastered at least two leading 3D modeling software packages (Solidworks, Maya, Zbrush, 3Dsmax, Autocad, Rhino, Cine4D, Pro-engineer)
  • You have experience of multiple social networks
  • Being an excellent people-person, you have great communication skills
  • You’re looking for an enriching experience coupled with real responsibility in the domain of 3D Printing
  • You are organized, and like to lead projects independantly
  • Very autonomous, you would be comfortable in a small team

Web Development Intern

 

Are you passionate about new technologies and entrepreneurship? Then come join our team! Sculpteo, the young and innovative cloud 3D printing service is looking for a new computer engineering intern. Technologies for creating physical models from computer’s design are evolving at breakneck speeds and are allowing consumers to create unique and personalized objects on demand like never before. We are looking for a “startup” profile that shares our passion.

 

 

Position and responsibilities:

 

You will be integrated directly into the development team, faced with the mission of creating, perfecting, and polishing the production tools of the website. You’ll be a directly faced with bettering the user experience from upload to final purchase, on issues of both design and functionality. As you work with our tools you’ll also have the opportunity to get a better understanding of the way we work and the way the industry works. You’ll be an important part of an experienced team which uses HTML5, CSS3, and WebGL to name a few. This won’t be an internship of coffee fetching and paper stamping, you’ll truly notice the difference you’re making not only on the company, but on society as well.

Qualifications :
  •  Passionate program developer
  •  Well versed in web development languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  •  Basic knowledge of other programming languages (C, C++, python)

Commercial Sales Administrator

Sculpteo (www.sculpteo.com) is the premiere site for online 3D printing services. Both business professionals and individual consumers can upload their designs and have them printed from professional grade 3D printers in either small batches or individually. This allows for the most cost efficient manner of industrial prototyping on the market. All orders are placed online, however Sculpteo maintains strong business to business relationships offline as well. We also have easy cloud printing services available, which allows professionals to integrate 3D printing directly into their existing services.

Always on the forefront of innovation, Sculpteo is currently developing new tools and materials which will make designing and printing even easier and more cost efficient. Sculpteo is looking for a knowledgeable full-time sales representative who fully believes in the Sculpteo products and services. We are looking for a “startup” profile that shares our passion.

Position and responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate the different commercial and technical aspects of Sculpteo’s services
  • Create accurate cost estimates for the clients
  • Establish and maintain varying client accounts with accordance to company procedures
  • Follow up and propose solutions for clients’ demands and complaints
  • Assume the lead contact position for some commercial sales
  • Understand internal material and programming limitations to advance projects as effectively as possible

 

Qualifications :

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Sales or equivalent

  • At least one year’s experience in commerce or sales administration
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies
  • A working understanding of both French and English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • In search of an enriching experience with many responsibilities in the web and e-commerce industries
  • Well organized, and works well in teams
