Sculpteo’s Glossary pages are finally available in both French and English!

Defining the complex technology that is 3D printing and additive manufacturing without using a technical term can be a bit complicated. We decided to clear up any confusion when it comes to those tricky 3D printing words by putting together our recently new Glossary pages.

From now on, you can traverse our resource pages in full confidence knowing that each word will have a quick and easily accessible definition. This glossary is available to everyone and can be accessed through our resources pages, so all of your 3D printing research can be accomplished through one simple medium. We cover most everything from 3D printing technologies, to specific parts of the printer, to 3D printing programs, and we even define technical terms for the physical properties of a 3D printed object.

However, 3D printing has only been around for about 30 years – there are new terms being coined on a daily basis for processes that have frankly never existed before today. That’s why we’ll continuously feed these pages, adding the new terminology that comes to be and the few terms that we may have left out.
