In Sculpteo’s continuing series of free online tutorials for 3D printing, we’re happy to announce the latest: the Blender Tutorial!

The only thing better than a free 3D modeling program is a free guide to get your designs 3D printable – and between Sculpteo and Blender, you get both! Here’s a link directly to the 3D Printing Tutorial for Blender.

You can find that tutorial and others by heading to our Resource pages and choosing “Prepare your model for 3D printing“. There you’ll find tutorials for a wide range of both free and paid modeling programs. Also the resource pages offer a wide range of information with everything from API integration to intellectual property rights.

The Blender tutorial goes in depth, explaining the best modeling practices when starting from scratch and for repairing other models for a 3D print. Blender is often used for animation and those files aren’t always printable. You’ll also learn about all of the modifiers for converting and repairing the model into a 3D printable file.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to the Blender tutorial and get started for yourself.
