This mock silencer is threaded for the Well G11 MAC-11 Green Gas airsoft SMG.

The self-cutting thread allows you to screw it onto any threaded metal external barrel to cut the thread; you can use it on positive or negative external barrels. Threaded muzzles can be aligned on the barrel with teflon tape. The self-cutting thread has an additional benefit to be aligned on the airsoft gun without teflon tape. To use a self-cutting thread muzzle on a nylon polymer (http://plastic) external barrel, cut the thread on a metal barrel first.
