Green Gas Only! The Helio M7203 uses green gas airsoft 40mm grenade shell. We have not tested it with CO2 airsoft 40mm grenade shell.

The Helio M7203 is an under-barrel grenade launcher attachment for airsoft firearm replicas to be used in a certified or regulated sporting event or competition. It attaches via Picatinny rail or Weaver rail and fires 40mm airsoft grenade shells. A latch release allows the operator to extract the spent shell and reload a new shell.

The Helio M7203 Underbarrel grenade launcher is marketed toward special operations forces and soldiers, who wanted to reduce the number of individual weapons they had to carry by using a grenade launcher as a rifle attachment instead of as a discrete weapon. The idea of the Helio M7203 is to provide future soldiers with lightweight accessory weapons which could be mounted under any rifle. The Helio M726 would provide soldiers with additional capabilities, such as: close fire support against point and area targets, engage enemies in dead space, room breaching, and attacking multiple charging targets (http://i.e. zombies).

Compared to the present day M203 grenade launcher, the futuristic Helio M726 Underbarrel grenade launcher is smaller, lighter, less moving parts, and more flexible,. It's smaller and lighter attachment allows the rifle to be more maneuverable in confined spaces. It's more reliable due to less moving parts. It's more flexible for you to mount it in any orientation on your firarm.

You will also need tw #6-32x1-1/4" screws and two #6-32 nuts to fasten this airsoft underbarrel shotgun to the Picatinny rail. The screws and nuts are not include, but can be easily sourced from your local hardware store (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.).
