This is a Picatinny tactical rail to Nerf tactical rail adapter. It lets you convert the Weaver rail or Picatinny rail on your airsoft/paintball/air gun to a Nerf rail or BOOMco rail for attaching Nerf/BOOMco accessories. For example, if you have a iPhone bracket that fits the Nerf/BOOMco rails, but won't fit the Picatinny rail, you can use this adapter to make it work.
This adapter is excellent for attaching the following Apple iPhone/iPod brackets to your airsoft gun or paintball marker:
1) BOOMco. Action Video Pack; 2) Nerf N-Strike Elite Battle App Tactical Rail Mount Accessory; 3) Nerf Rebelle Mission Central Application Rail Mount.
You will need a #6-32x1-1/4" screw and a #6-32 nut to fasten this mount to Picatinny/Weaver accessory rails. The screws and nuts are not included, but can be easily sourced from your local hardware store (http://e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.).
Airsoft equipment and Nerf/BOOMco equipment used for illustration of this Picatinny to Nerf Adapter are not included.
WARNING: Although you can use this mount adapter to fasten your Nerf/BOOMco accessory to your real firearm, this adapter has never been tested with real firearms before. We do not know if the firearm heat/recoil will or will not damage this adapter and any accessories you attach to it. Use it with real firearms at your own risk.
