This Airsoft3D product is the Picatinny mount adapter for the Sony Action Cam series. It allows you to install your Sony bulletcam to your airsoft gun or paintball marker's Picatinny accessory rail. This bracket is symmetrical, allowing you to mount the camcorder to either side of your gun. It is compatible with Sony Action Cams that has tripod mount screw hole:
Although this bracket is made for the larger dimension of the waterproof cases, you can mount the video camera directly (http://with the tripod adapter) on this bracket without the waterproof case if you wish. Note that we have an even wider version of this adapter that will work with wider waterproof cases. This bracket is also compatible with new Sony video camcorders that has the same dimensions (or smaller) as the models shown above.
You will need a #8-32x1.5" screw and a nut to secure this adapter to your gun. Then you will need a 1/4"-20x0.5" screw to fasten the action cam to this adapter. The screws and nut are not included, but can be easily sourced from your local hardware store (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.).
Note that this adapter is build to Picatinny specification. This adapter may work with some Weaver accessory rails. But if your rail is not made to the Picatinny standard, then this adapter may not fit properly and may require customization and expert installation.
