A cookie (hereafter, “Cookie(s)”) is a small text file of letters and numbers that is downloaded and stored on the terminal equipment or device of each User when visiting the Website and/or using Website features, (e.g., requesting a quote, subscribing to the newsletter, sharing Sculpteo’s content on social networks, etc.) (hereinafter the “Services”).

A Cookie allows the Website to recognize that User’s terminal equipment or device, and to store some information about the User’s preferences or past actions such as User’s language preference or login information. Cookies are stored on the User’s device for a certain period of time (such duration is specified, for each cookie, in article 6 below) and are reactivated each time the User visits the Website again in order to make browsing easier and more efficient.

2. Why do we use cookies?

Sculpteo uses Cookies to:

  • Provide the Services (as defined above);

  • Ensure the security of the Website;

    functioning and interest of the Website;

5. Accepting or refusing Cookies

5.1. Settings through the Cookies banner
Strictly necessary Cookies – These Cookies must be present for the Website to provide the basic functions of the Website. Strictly necessary Cookies are essential for Users to browse the Website without losing their previous actions from the same session and use the Website’s features such as accessing secure areas of the site. Strictly necessary cookies are exempted from requiring Users’ consent.
All other Cookies – For placing all other types of Cookies, Sculpteo requests the User’s prior consent.
When the User visits the Website for the first time, the Website displays a Cookie banner describing what each type of Cookie is used for and requires the User to take a specific action. The User can then accept/activate or refuse/deactivate Cookies through this banner, by ticking/unchecking the boxes provided. Except for the box relating to necessary Cookies, all other boxes are unchecked by default. Any deactivation will result in the refusal
to place the Cookies in question.
If the User simply continues to browse the Website or clicks on any Website feature, only strictly necessary Cookies will be placed during its browsing.
Refusing not strictly necessary cookies will not restrict access to the Website but may limit the User’s browsing experience.

6. Cookies storage period

Cookies are said to be « persistent » when they remain on the User’s device for the duration specified in the chart above or until they are deleted by the User.

Cookies are said to be « Session cookies » when they last for the sole duration of the session, i.e., that they will automatically disappear when the User closes his browser window.

Persistent Cookies may be placed on the User’s device for a maximum period of 13 months from the date of the User’s consent. The data collected through Cookies will then be deleted or anonymized depending on the nature of the Cookie.

The information collected through Statistical Cookies is stored by Sculpteo for a maximum period of 25 months.

Sculpteo may make changes to this Policy at any time to comply with changes in applicable law or regulatory requirements.

Sculpteo therefore encourages the User to regularly review this Policy as well as its update date.
