New “Move in 3D” Design Contest with Dassault Systèmes!

September was awesome! We met lots of 3D printing fans during the different events across the US and Europe. And since it was so great, we wanted to conclude September with a new contest! We partnered with Dassault Systèmes for the launch of their new MOVEin3D contest.

It started a week ago and it runs until November the 8th. As for the other contests we made with Dassault Systèmes, the first three places will get you a 3D print of the model from us, and you’ll get an iPad mini from Dassault Systèmes.

Dassault Systèmes
This time we want you to create a model with at least 2 moving parts. The goal is to highlight the different possibility of 3D printing. You will need to submit an original 3D creation that has the particularity to be composed of several mechanically independent but not separable parts  (no upper limit for parts number, but at least 2 of course). A simple example would be a ball bearing, the balls and the body being different moving parts. The second constraint that must be taken into account would be to imagine your creation so that the final object is 3D-printable.

To participate, you’ll have to register on the 3DSwym community of Dassault Systèmes, and from there, this blog post will help you get through the process!

For any legal information about this contest, please check https://swym.3ds.com/#media:69143 (French version) and https://swym.3ds.com/#media:69141 (English version).

Let’s do some 3Ding! Good luck Everyone!
