About the Project:
A key challenge faced by Blackfoot in developing this product was manufacturing waterproof and dustproof cases that meet the stringent IP67 standard. As well as manufacturing a device around ensuring its acceptance by the animal. Factors such as weight,
surface area, volume, and battery life were critical considerations in designing a product that pets would embrace while delivering optimal functionality.
To meet the IP67 standard, Blackfoot carefully selected materials. They chose SLS PA11 (Selective Laser Sintering Polyamide 11) for the main case due to its strength, durability, and water resistance. PA11’s high impact resistance and ability to withstand harsh conditions made it ideal for the case.
Questions:

The use of AI allows us to deduce very fine animal behaviors coupled with statistical data that we collect.
The product is expected to be launched in late 2024.

Constraint:
The main constraints encountered in manufacturing this case are those related to the fact that it must be accepted by the animal, namely: the weight, surface area, volume and battery life.
