Concept presentation
The JIB Eye product has an eye camera that allows people who no longer has access to verbal communication to select letters
or pictograms directly through the movement of their eyes and thus communicate with their loved ones or caregivers daily.
The device allows you to maintain communication, access simplified applications such as social networks and instant messaging,
and access the internet.
This device is suitable for pathologies such as Multiple Sclerosis, Charcot disease, or other types of Multiple Disabilities.
About the Project:
We required a way to encapsulate`a tablet and an eye camera, explained Benoît Debaecker, the operations director at JIB. A custom solution was essential to integrate these different devices and create a durable, cohesive, and visually appealing product.
TPU emerged as the perfect material to securely house electronics and various components, ensuring product protection in case of falls or impacts.
The outcome is a single, portable component that is resilient to knocks and drops, enabling individuals with multiple disabilities to focus on communicating with their loved ones effortlessly.
