Back to school in style with laser cutting

Your kids are back to school and you’d like to offer them a classier way to do maths exercises? You like geometry and laser cutting? You are curious of the level of details our laser cutter can reach? This laser cut back to school kit is made for you.

We designed this beautiful back to school kit to show the amount of details that is reachable thanks to our new laser cutting service, and to invite you to try out your own creations: we showed you our laser cut and 3D printed drone, and the beautiful laser cut projects by our staff members (volume 1 and volume 2), now we give you an idea of a concrete thing to create with laser cutting.

The extreme precision of our CO2 laser cutter

Made in yellow and blue 3 mm thick plexiglass, the back to school kit, composed of a ruler, a set square, and a protractor, was cut using our CO2 laser cutter.

The lines were vector engraved, and the numbers were raster engraved. You can see on the picture that the lines, spaced by only 1 mm are very clear and very regular, and that the outer cuts are extremely neat.

Our new material: 1 mm thick acrylic

This kit is also a good opportunity to showcase our new material: the 1 mm thick acrylic. As you can see in the picture below, it makes a beautiful object:
