Working from home can be challenging, especially with kids! We thought it might be fun to challenge your future engineer with a creative and interactive activity you can do together!
The James Dyson Foundation has worked out a very nice challenge for you and your kids: The Cardboard Boat Challenge. Take a small break from work and introduce your son or daughter to some basic engineering concepts.

The principle is simple, you have to build a boat that can support up a ½lb without sinking. The guidelines below will help you reach that goal and get the right materials.
We hope this challenge will keep you and your children entertained. Once your creation is ready, post a picture of it to your Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtag #SculpteoEngineeringKids. You can also send it to the email address engineering-kids@sculpteo.com. We will then showcase them in a future article. Have fun!
