Forward AM Award Winner for 2022!

The Forward AM award is an award to celebrate startups and Additive Manufacturing.

The Finals happened on Monday, October 10th, 2022, in Barcelona and online with a series of talks and startup pitches discussing high-potential applications for Additive Manufacturing. 

Leaders of the AM industry, like Sculpteo, joined forces to help accelerate the rise of 3D printed applications that combine social or environmental impact, high scalability, and unique use cases for their respective industries. 

As a Gold sponsor for this award, we were excited to support trailblazing innovators that are driving the adoption of Additive Manufacturing.

The four startups finalists of the Award: Act’ble, Archyas Automation, Limber, and Odapt competed in front of the Jury and the audience to get a chance to win one of the 3 Prizes of the contest redeemed at IAM3DHUB: a 50,000EUR Grand Prize, a 15,000EUR Sustainability Award and a 15,000EUR Public’s Choice Award. 

Who are the finalist

• act’ble GmbH, founded in 2021 in Germany, the company took up the challenge to produce 3D printed soles for ballet pointe shoes to improve the health of dancers’ feet and be sustainable within the industry!
• Odapt, with the help of 3D printing, the Spanish company created reusable and customized wafers for two-piece ostomy bags that adapt to any shape of stoma! 
• Archytas Automation, the American company, was founded in 2020 and uses 3D printing to produce affordable automation robots for local micro-factories!
• Last but not least, LIMBER Prosthetics and Orthotics, were founded in 2020 and leverage additive manufacturing to provide affordable and personalized prosthetic legs and a digitalized manufacturing workflow.

The grand Forward AM Award 2022 was awarded to Archytas Automation!

With the Sustainability Award going to act’ble GmbH and the People’s Choice Award going to Odapt!
