Sculpteo Switches to Enercoop: Green Energy Move

Sculpteo switches to Enercoop green energy provider

Posted By Stephany Vaussanvin on Jan 21, 2022 | 0 comments

As part of our commitment to sustainability here at Sculpteo, we’ve recently moved to use renewable energy for production and our offices with the green energy provider Enercoop. Operating our business in an environmentally sustainable way is one of our core values. We are constantly working to improve and find new ways to make sustainability a constant reality.

We hope that this effort also puts our clients at ease, knowing that using our online printing services does not require fossil-fueled electricity and creates a smaller carbon footprint.

Why Enercoop?

Enercoop is the only 100% renewable and cooperative electricity supplier to obtain its supplies directly from renewable energy producers: hydraulic, wind, photovoltaic, and biogas. They carry the VertVolt label from ADEME.

More than half of its profits are reinvested as a Cooperative Society of Collective Interest (SCIC), namely renewable energies and energy savings.

By choosing Enercoop, we are concretely supporting the development of renewable energies, participating in a new form of citizenship, and creating local appropriation of the energy sector.

Enercoop Facts:

  • 354 producers of renewable energy
  • Serving 11 regions
  • Over 100K clients

The Carbon intensity of the energy provided by Enercoop (not including transport and distribution) was only 13,8 g of CO2eq / kWH in 2020. (source: Enercoop)

In comparison, the electricity generation in France is estimated to be around 58g of CO2eq / kWH. (source: 2016: European Environment Agency
